100 Themes Challenge: 2- HumorThere was a boy
who lived down the street
I don’t know his name
or what he thought of me
but I know enough about him
to tell you his life story.
His mother died a quiet death,
when he was just too young.
His father was a roaring man,
when he was oh so weak.
His only friends were long gone,
too afraid to face his dark reality.
His faith quickly disappeared,
when his father screamed too greatly.
His voice always wavered,
when his father made him sob.
His hope was left a small echo,
battling his father’s beatings alone.
His scars were never showed proudly,
but he only laughed them off.
His humor was his last escape,
one he desperately grasped onto.
Not so long ago,
His father went too far.
The boy was thrashed out to the streets,
where he was meant to stay and rot.
He tried to laugh as he cried,
but he knew it was no use.
His humor watched him as he fell,
into the hands despair.
No one on our street gave him even a glance,
not even a breath.
They sighed on with their own liv
Dark Empire- Chapter 2The first thing we did was get to the nearest news broadcast building. I can't remember what it was, since I never watched the news and I didn't know the difference between any of them. Wherever we were, everything seemed perfectly fine. The zombies were a bit far back, but we only had half an hour at the most before they caught up and destroyed the town. Max got Ethan onto his back and Mason climbed onto mine. Magnus grabbed the cat and we all ran into the building.

I had two photos and I blended the two together, and with some more editing with color and such... This was the result. :D

I remember my mom first introduced me to it by comparing the Adam Lambert live version to the Gary Jules one. It's one of my favorite songs, as depressing as it is. :p Thanks!!! :D
